A success story to be continued!!
The enthusiam of last year’s participants, trainers, parents and organisers was the driving force behind “Volume II” of the JP Young Gun Camp in Prasonisi.

Together with JP-Australia the Procenter Christof Kirschner in Prasonisi will hold again an international Young Gun Camp. Cool moves and hot windsurf action – this is the program from 3rd
August to 10th August 2008 at the Procenter in Prasonisi. The world’s best JP team riders and highly qualified windsurf coaches will take care of camp participants 24 hours a day and will teach them all the tricks on the water.

For many years Prasonisi hosted the European Freestyle Pro Tour. It has become a training spot for many top riders and is the ideal spot to hold such an event.

The aim is to improve windsurfing skills at a max with a focus on freestyle manoeuvres. However
despite serious and hard work the focus will be absolutely on having fun. Young people of different nations and languages shall share their common enthusiasm for windsurfing. A video crew and a professional photographer as well as an editor of the biggest German windsurfing magazine will accompany the event. At the end of the event we will hold a competition. The first prize will be a complete surf gear by JP and Neilpryde.

Waterstarting in both directions and planing in the straps are the minimum requirements to participate in the camp. There is no age limit. All young sailors and those you are young in mind but might not be in body are welcome to join.

Speed Coaching: 28.09. - 04.10.2008

To fly over the water with top speed is a fantastic feeling – pure adrenaline for the body. But how do I manage to achieve this? What can I improve in terms of technique and equipment
trim??

Prasonisi’s flat water side is the ideal spot for improving speed technique and and one of the big stars of speed sailing will be on hand to coach you! David White - the official British
speed champion with 44.03kn (81.5 km/h) - will coach you 6 days in a row. David is an excellent coach with a good sense of humor. You can look forward to a week full of fun and learning
progress.

High speed is not only for speed freaks – it is also the basis for all planing manoeuvres. To know about the right technique and about the possibilities of equipment trimming is of crucial importance for sailors of all levels.

The focus of our speed week will be on learing and improving your planing technique. You will be coached on free ride equipment and put the hence learnt into practice on race/slalom equipment. During training each participant will be equiped with a GPS speed meter of the Procenter. You will therefore be able to check at any time what kind of progress you have made.

Entrance level for the training: waterstarting, harness and footstraps. A maximum of 15 participants will be accepted. As such David will have the chance to coach everyone according to their individual needs and level. At the end of the week we will hold the „Prasonisi Speed Trophy“. The fastest will win great prizes.
