The perfect spot for 20 years.
Pro Center I is located directly in the Sotavento wind funnel. Strong winds and water conditions from flat up to six foot waves make this the perfect spot for freestylers, racers and kiters. Mother nature has provided a beautiful white sand beach with crystal-clear turquoise water for miles around the center. We provide a reserved sunbed for you in the palm garden, right in front of the station, protected from the wind. At Pro Center I there is also a beach bar in the palm garden. The new kite center is located at Pro Center I. The popular Hotel Sol Gorriones is just 200 yards from the center. Strong and constant wind, with water conditions from flat to wavey are the features of this top spot.

Pro Center II is 2 miles south of Pro Center René Egli I. It is ideally situated near the large sand dunes and is still within the Sotavento wind funnel. The spot is equally suitable for beginners and advanced windsurfers. In the large, shallow lagoon beginners and experienced surfers can improve in super-flat water conditions, while wave heads can jump and ride in the three to six foot breakers on the sand bars in front of the lagoon. The station is located directly at the water's edge and has a 700 m² beach station, complete with a Spanish-run restaurant.

The kite center has established Sotavento's reputation as an excellent kite spot. We hosted the Kite-World-Cup in 2001 and 2002. Sebastien Catelan set a new hang time world record with his first attempt, an 8.87 second long jump.

All levels of kiters have a great time here, not just the pros. The waist deep lagoon is absolutely perfect for learning to kiteboard, and the main beach is huge giving more than enough space for a lot of kites at the same time.
