The Pro Center René Egli expanded its service and the center direct at the World Cup Spot!
A new 500m² large area with specially built wind and view protected private sun-islands invites to relax between and after the windsurf and kiteboarding sessions. This unique palm-oasis is set directly at the edge of the tidal lagoon, there you will spend a perfect dream holiday – just get a chilled drink at the Beach Bar and relax.
Additional freshwater showers inside and outside of the center are just part of the completely renovated sanitary facilities.
In addition the storage zone for private kite material has been enlarged, so that we can offer now to our clients the three times as much storage place. Of course the storage of private material as well includes all of our other services, e.g. life rescue service, compressed air, as well as our free shuttle buses, which connect the centers and the hotels of Costa Calma, plus brand new also the hotels of Jandía in the South of Fuerteventura.
Safe Windsurfing & Kiteboarding:
The Pro Center René Egli has a free life rescue service. A look-out keeps a constant watch over the beach and water during the windsurf and kiteboarding hours of the Pro Center (from 10 am to 7 pm in summer and from 10 am to 5 pm in winter). Whenever a kiter or windsurfer needs help the lifeguard on watch on the tower informs the beach lifeguard using a mobile phone. The beach lifeguard conducts the rescue from the rescueboat, with co-ordination from the lifeguard on watch. In order to maintain full concentration the lifeguard on watch is changed every two hours, so his mind is always fresh.

We ramped up our Cabrinha 2007 Kiteboarding range with more kites and boards. Therewith we offer to our clients 350 latest kites (Crossbow 2, Switchblade 2, Contra and Omega) and 100 latest boards (Prodigy, Custom and Imperial).

There are available 3 board types in a total of 8 different board sizes and 4 kite lines in a total of 16 different kite sizes. You can change your reserved board for the day, or for just a couple of hours directly at the Kite Center (depending on availability). All kites are equipped with the new innovative Cabrinha control and security systems 2007!
Kite Advanced Pool
Special offer – hourly rental of kite equipment.
Every day, groups of max. 8 kiters are supported by employees to improve their level on the open sea in the kite zone directly in front of the Kite Center. On the beach, an assistant helps with starting and landing and gives useful tips; at sea, groups are accompanied for safety by a further assistant on a jet-ski. Times for the offered 3-hour periods will be coordinated beforehand.
Requirement: Minimum level Step 5/2 of the VDWS/IKO license (control and start of a kite lying in water, body drag on all courses, lifting out of the water, riding) – obtainable on site.
Control systems: Crossbow 2 - Powerdrive 221, Switchblade 2 - Powerdrive 121, Contra - Powerlock 3 CS & Omega – Powerdrive 2N1 “Pulley or No Pulley”.
Security systems: "Override 2" the new ´Depower on Demand Concept´ of Cabrinha.
